The quote, “you are what you eat,” needs an extended version because who you are is not complete without chakras. Thousands of years ago, chakra originated in Hinduism and has existed ever since. In Sanskrit, chakra means “wheel,” By definition, chakras are energy centers connected to nerve bundles and internal organs in the body. Chakra bracelets come into play when the energy centers get blocked by negative thoughts by unblocking these hostile forces.

Chakra bracelets are made of crystals with myriad colors that correspond to chakras in our bodies. The owner of chakra bracelets enjoys several benefits, like feeling grounded in positive energy and withstanding challenges.

One crucial question is, what wrist should you wear a chakra bracelet?

You should rotate your Chakra bracelet between your left and right wrists. Your left wrist is for receiving energy, while your right wrist gives energy.

In spiritual traditions like Taoism and Agatha Yoga, the left side of humans is the feminine side. The feminine side is the receptive side and is known to handle internal shifts in the human body. It receives energy from the crystal and helps make positive shifts through the body.

  • To internally absorb the healing energy.
  • To experience a deep sense of self-love.
  • To protect yourself from dwelling on negative energy.
  • For self-confidence
  • To mix your aura with the crystal’s energy.

The right side is the masculine side of your body; unlike the receptive side, the right side aids your output to the outside world. When a chakra bracelet is worn on the right wrist, the crystals control your energy to the external environment.

  • To radiate peaceful emotions like love and compassion
  • To get rid of anxious and agitated feelings
  • Manifest your intentions
  • Facilitate your energy control

What Is A Chakra Bracelet?

Chakra bracelets, also known as mala beads, are a set of beads typically made from wood or seeds that people wear as a necklace. The word “mala” means “garland” in the Sanskrit language. Mala bracelets have been used for centuries to promote spiritual awareness and balance through meditation or prayer.

The chakra bracelet is believed to have originated with yogis who would use a bracelet with 108 beads to count their daily number of repetitions during meditation so they wouldn’t lose track after 99 repetitions. There are many theories about how these yogis developed 108 beads rather than some other number; there is no clear evidence. In meditation practices today, however, sitting practitioners may use a mala bead bracelet with 27 beads for each major chakra.

This is an essential item in Buddhist traditions, where it is used to promote mindfulness and alertness during meditation by keeping track of the total number of repetitions. They are also mentioned in some Hindu scriptures but are most widely known among Buddhist practitioners.

Some Buddhists believe that wearing malas around your neck may not be wise because you might wear them out; instead, these individuals prefer having their malas rest on top of their Buddha statues while they meditate or pray.

People who use mala necklaces typically do so during meditation of almost any type, including yoga and tai chi. Many people also wear their malas around or outside of the home to maintain balance. The larger beads are typically used for counting repetitions during meditation, while the smaller beads are reserved for decorative purposes after you have reached your goal number of repetitions. People may also choose to tie knots into their mala necklaces, counting each knot as one repetition if they find this easier than just moving one bead at a time.

What Are The Benefits Of Chakra Bracelets?

Calm the senses: During a challenge, the vibration effects of the crystal bracelet help to organize and calm the nerves of the person wearing the bracelet. This allows him/her to put their thoughts in order and decide on the next step.

Creativity: An amber crystal has vibrational properties related to the sacral chakra responsible for creativity.

Good health: Chakra bracelets maintain spiritual health as well as physical health. A blocked chakra can affect its corresponding body part, and a chakra bracelet fixes that.

Inner peace: Crystal bracelets protect you from negative vibrations, boost your self-confidence, help you connect better with people, and provide an overall feeling of joy and satisfaction.

Chakra bracelets have a myriad of benefits; these are only a few that you can derive from wearing one.

What Are The Different Styles Of Chakra Bracelets?

You can choose to wear a crystal that resonates with the chakra you want to unblock, but you can also decide to wear the 7 chakra healing bracelet, which consists of the crystals of the major energy centers. Whichever one you choose, there are several ways to style them:

  • Beads
  • String
  • Metal (gold/ silver)
  • Wood

Conclusion

The wrist to wear your chakra bracelet entirely depends on your intention and the energy you want to resonate with. Whether you wear your bracelet on the left or the right hand, the results remain favorable. When chakras in your body get blocked, they can be unblocked by exercise, meditation, yoga, and our very own- chakra bracelets!
