• The prices of the graded errors were much higher than the ungraded ones, which had the die clash selling at around $30 each. One of the airplanes on the Tuskegee Airman quarter had a die chip and was graded from ms-64 to ms-67. The PCGs graded some and others by the NGC and the Annex.

Is 2021 Crossing the Delaware Quarter Rare?

Since the coins with the lowest number of graded coins have the highest value, the Crossing the Delaware coin gained much popularity due to its high grades. The 2021-D Double Die Reverse and 25C graded MS67 of Crossing the Delaware Quarter were extremely rare and sold at a high value.

In addition, a 2021-P 25C of Crossing Delaware graded at MS67 was a unique collectible 2021 quarter that sold at a premium.

Are There Any Errors on the 2021 Tuskegee Airmen Quarter?

What’s Special About the 2021 Quarter?

The 2021 Washington crossing the Delaware quarter is the only one of its kind. During the revolutionary war, the obverse (heads) of the quarter will revert to designer John Flanagan’s design of President Washington that was on the coin before the state program.

Only one year after the 2021 Washington crossing Delaware issue, the US mint will launch a new program, the American Women’s Quarter, a four-year program that will run from 2023 through 2025. The USA Coin Book estimated the 2021-P Quarter Error Value at $7.88 or more in Uncirculated (MS+) Mints. But a 2021-P Tuskegee Airmen quarter-graded MS68 was sold for $421.00 in 2023.

2021 Quarter Crossing the Delaware Error

2021 Crossing the Delaware quarter dollar was released for circulation on April 5 by the Federal Reserve. The obverse (heads of 2021 Crossing the Delaware quarter dollar illustrates the sculptor of John Flanagan’s original obverse design for the Washington quarter dollar issued from 1932 to 1998.

On the other hand, the reverse (tails) is a display from a viewpoint observing Washington crossing the Delaware River with his troops. 2021 crossing Delaware has a mint error on the reverse with feeder finger errors. Also, there are die markings on the crown of Washington’s quarter.

Are There 2021 Coin Errors?

Apart from the final coin of the Tuskegee Airmen quarter and crossing the Delaware quarter errors, the year 2021 also featured some errors in the following coins.

Pennies

• One of the errors was the “spiked heads” with a line running from Lincoln’s head to the edge (rim) of the coin. It results from a die break and is valued at around $15.

The Mint error value depends on the condition of the error coin. The fewer error coins produced, the more the value.
